Regulate Smarter Chair Richard Burr Appears On Fox Business

In his first cable news appearance on behalf of Regulate Smarter, Chairman Richard Burr appeared on the Fox Business show “The Bottom Line.” Burr discussed the Coalition’s recent letter to Dr. Marty Makary, Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) commissioner, outlining five concrete and common-sense reforms to address the flood of illegal and unregulated tobacco and nicotine products into the U.S., effectively enforce the Tobacco Control Act (TCA) and restore order to the marketplace.

The letter was also covered by Fox News Digital with the  headline, “EXCLUSIVE: Biden failed to stop China's toxic nicotine invasion — and your kids paid the price, expert warns.”

During the interview with Fox Business’ Dagen McDowell and Guy Benson, Chairman Burr sounded the alarm on the threat of illegal vapes, pointing out that illicit vape market exploded during the Biden Administration, who not only authorized virtually no products, but also did nothing to enforce the flood of illegal products.
